Polski Klub Seniorow w Australijskim Terytorium Stolecznym
Established in 2007 by women of Polish ancestry living in Canberra, to improve the quality of life of the Polish elderly and their carers through information, the provision of care, support and advocacy. This within the context of their Polish language, culture and traditions.
A Committee meets regularly to organise two gatherings per month on the first Thursday and the third Saturday. Activities include health and fitness, health promotion, recreational games, discussion groups, cultural activities including tours. A Polish meal is provided. Transportation is provided for those who are unable to drive.
A newsletter is produced providing information in the Polish language.
All activities take place at the Polish Catholic Centre in Narrabundah.
